I have a 'Nest that is in excellent shape and which fits a full size truck bed.
The out-to-out dimensions are: 69.5"w at front, 68.5"w at rear, and 99.5" front to back. Additionally, it is approximately 23"h.
This camper is 100% solid, including a tent with no rips, holes, etc.
The camper also has a nice Surco Roof Rack on it, including a Spare Tire Mount and a spare tire for the optional trailer (see below).
It includes the following accessories -
- Wall-hanging storage net with numerous storage pockets
- Canvas/Net "Rear Door"
- Support Poles for Lid
- Curtain for Bedroom
- Overhead "catchall" net over bed
- Opening/Closing strap
The price for the Nest alone is $1,000.
Currently, the Nest is sitting on a 1/2ton truck bed that's been converted into a trailer. The 'Nest is screwed down and caulked for a "no leak" experience. The trailer tongue has a storage shelf mounted to it, with a large lockable storage box screwed down onto that.
The trailer has decent tires with fairly aggressive tread, so this rig is ready to be towed on the trails if desired.
The trailer also has a 2" receiver hitch, with lighting connection, attached to the rear so you could double tow, or attach a bike rack if desired.
It has a fully carpeted bench seat/bed storage system in it that provides a second bed that's 5'w x 8'l. So the complete rig will easily sleep four adults, and could go to 5 or 6 people if the extras are kids.
It currently has a clear CO title on it.
So if you have a truck too small for a full size 'Nest, or some other tow vehicle, or just like the idea of being able to detach and leave your camping rig while you scoot about in your tow rig, you might consider buying the trailer as well.
The price for the Nest INCLUDING the trailer is $1,400.
Not sure if I can post images when I finish this post, but if you don't see any, please email me and I will send them.
